General

• I've lived in a variety of cities and states.

  • I was born in Charleston, SC.

  • I briefly lived in Atlanta, GA as a toddler.

  • I lived in Hilton Head Island, SC throughout elementary school and the first half of middle school.

  • I lived in Ponte Vedra, FL from January 2010 until June 2011 .

  • I then moved to Hummelstown, PA, where I attended Lower Dauphin High School.

  • I attended Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA for my undergraduate career.

  • I have lived in Columbia, SC since August 2019, where I am a third generation University of South Carolina (USC) Gamecock!

    • My grandmother on my mom's side attended USC and still lives near Columbia.

    • My parents met at USC, where they both earned their bachelors degrees.

    • My brother, Tyler, completed both his bachelors and masters degrees in hospitality management at USC in 2018.

  • I will move to New Haven, CT in July 2024.

• I got married on August 6, 2022 to Meagan Cobb (now Meagan Heath), a PhD candidate in Spanish at USC.

Baseball

My biggest non-academic interest is baseball!

• I played baseball from the time I was four years old through the end of high school.

  • In high school I mostly played second base, shortstop, and third base, although I also played pitcher and catcher when I was younger.

• My favorite Major League Baseball (MLB) teams are the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox.

• I'm a big fan of sabermetrics and would love to continue learning more about them.

• I dream of visiting all 30 MLB stadiums; currently, I've been to 17 and have 13 more to go.  Here are the ones that I've been to, along with the corresponding team for each (in alphabetical order by team name).

  • Truist Park (Atlanta Braves) (I also went to a game at their former stadium, Turner Field, as a child!)

  • loanDepot Park (Miami Marlins) (This was actually a World Baseball Classic game in 2023 between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela!)

  • Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia Phillies)

  • PNC Park (Pittsburgh Pirates)

  • Citi Field (New York Mets)

  • Yankee Stadium (New York Yankees)

  • Petco Park (San Diego Padres)

  • Oracle Park (San Francisco Giants)  (Haven't been to a game yet, but I did take a tour.)

  • Tropicana Field (Tampa Bay Rays)

  • Rogers Centre (Toronto Blue Jays) (I also went to a game played at TD Ballpark in Dunedin, FL when the Blue Jays briefly called it home in 2021!)

Music
